below is a simple way to identify your Salomon boot size so you can select the correct Subtract product.

Step 1: remove the Liner from the boot

Step 2: look for the size molded on the footbed of your skate (see image for example)

Step 3: When choosing Salomon STI soul plate consider the sizing. For instance, if your boot size is between 28.0 and 28.5, you should get the 27 - 28.5 Subtract sole because it falls within your size range.
